Our Bug Bounty Program is officially launched!
As you may know, Marinade has already undergone 3 audits and has always made security a top priority. Building on solid foundations and not rushing into things is critical when we’re talking about people’s money.
We truly believe that to onboard the next billion users to crypto and become the ultimate unit of account on Solana, we must lead the way in terms of security in the ecosystem.
For this reason, we wanted to commit to making Marinade even safer by offering a bug bounty. While the Marinade team is actively working on improving our protocol, we are inviting all of you to put it to the test and be rewarded for it.
Whether you are a Marinator or not, those bounties are available and can be claimed by anyone helping us fix a major issue.

We offer the following bounties:
Critical threat level: Up to USD 250,000 Major threat level: USD 15,000
These bug bounties are offered by the Marinade DAO treasury. They are valued in USD but will be paid in mSOL and MNDE.
What is the scope of this bug bounty?
The purpose of this bug bounty is to identify and fix any major or critical bug that might be discovered and reward the person finding it.

What is Marinade.Finance?
Marinade.Finance is the first non-custodial liquid staking protocol built on Solana. You can stake your SOL tokens with Marinade and receive “marinated SOL” tokens (mSOL) that you can use in decentralized finance (DeFi).
The price of mSOL goes up relative to SOL each epoch, with rewards being accrued into the underlying staked SOL. Marinade stakes in 400+ validators that are selected automatically by an open-source fair formula based on performance, commission and decentralization.
Marinade includes mSOL->SOL swap, so you can “Unstake Now!” and receive your SOL immediately with a small fee. You can also directly exchange between mSOL and SOL on secondary markets at the current rate. Finally, you can unstake your SOL with zero-fee by waiting 4–6 days for the Solana cool-down period (delayed-unstake).
As of December 2021, Marinade’s TVL is around 1.5b USD.
